Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901, Chicago. He was the fourth son of  Elias Disney and Flora Disney. When Disney was a 4 years old child, he and his family moved to a farm in Marcellien, Missouri. There, Disney developed his interest in drawing when he was paid yo draw the horse of a retired neighborhood doctor. In 1917, he enrolled at McKinley High School and became the cartoonist of the school newspaper. Disney returned to Kansas City on October 1919, where he worked as an apprentice artist at the Pesmen-Rubin Commercial Art Studio. There, he drew commercial illustrations for advertising, theater programs, and catalogs.

Early career (1920-1929)
Disney became interested in animation since he and his colleague start working on a company that produced commercials using the cutout animation technique. With the help of a borrowed book on animation and a camera, he began experimenting at home. After he tried it, he had a though that cel animation is more promising rather than cutout animation technique. His first cartoon is Newman Laugh O-Grams. It is a short animation that he and his co-worker produced for the local Newman Theater. The Laugh-O-Grams cartoon didn't provide enough income for the company solvent. So he and his co-worker produced a new animation that combined live-action an animation, Alice's Adventure in The Wonderland.

He married an ink artist back in 1925, Lillian Bounds. They blessed by the born of their two daughters, Diane and Sharon. Within the family, neither Disney nor his wife hid the fact Sharon had been adopted, although they became annoyed if people outside the family raised the point. Disney tried to ensure his daughters from the public eyes as possible to keep their safeness from kidnapping.

In May 1928, Disney developed a new animated character. This character is the most iconic from all the characters of the Walt Disney Company. It is Mickey Mouse. Mickey was possibly inspired by the mouse that he adopted when he was working on the Newman company, although, the origin of this iconic mouse is unclear until now. In 1929, Disney created Silly Symphonies, that include Mickey's friends. They are Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Pluto.

Golden Age of Animation (1934-1941)

This project took three times over budget from the usual. It because this film is the first production that featured full color and full voice. At first, other companies predict that this project would cause the bankrupt of The Walt Disney Company. But rather than that, on December 1937 as the time Snow White and The Seven Dwarf premiere, the company got a lot of high praise from critics and audience.  This film becomes the most successful motion picture of 1928. Start from that, Disney got a lot of awards. And because of that too, The Walt Disney Studios produced more animation film that developed over time.
