 Batu Secret Zoo Malang

       
On the 18th of December 2018, after I visited Bromo the day before, I came to Batu Secret Zoo, Batu, East Jawa. Batu Secret Zoo is the biggest modern zoo in Java. It often called by Jatim Park 2. It has many kinds of animal, either Indonesian animals or other continents animals. Besides the large area, Batu Secret Zoo is also clean, organized, and manicured. We can saw the unique buildings at first when we arrived. There are amusing animal statues with attracting colors in front of the entrance. Everything is placed properly. Like I said before, this zoo is very clean. I can't see any trash lying around anywhere, maybe is because there are many trash bins around.


 When we first walked into the zoo, we can saw many kinds of monkey. From the big sized like baboons and to the mini tiny sized one like pigmy marmoset. There are also wombats, the biggest rat
from Australia. They're all caged in a wire cage. We can see the wonderful view of Batu too on there.

 We directly entered the aquarium area. We can saw many aquatic animals like, of course, many kinds of fish, starfish, stingray, lobster, octopus, and others. Their aquarium is equipped with neon colorful light, so it makes them more amusing for kids.





 After done with surrounding the aquarium area, we entered The Reptiles Garden. It was dark inside. But because of that, we can saw the interesting color and form of the reptile. There is the biggest reptile in the world, as we have known, komodo dragon. There are also crocodiles, iguanas, snakes, and turtles! I forgot to mention that before we walked into this area, we saw two Galapagos, the oldest and the biggest turtle in the world.

After the indoor area, we saw many animals outside. They weren't caged in a glass cage because they aren't that dangerous, but they're still caged. I saw one of my favorites animals, it's a llama! Llama is so cute because they have a lot of fluffy furs. And I like the way they eat. Beside llama, there are raccoons, armadillos, kangaroos, wallabies, and others. Most of them are from Australia. We passed through the hippos too, but I can't see them clearly because they were sleeping underwater. Oh yeah, I saw a black panther too.., It's remained me to Black Panther movie.

Next, we step into the Savannah. Like it's called, there are many animals from Afrika. They're caged in an enormous glass cage. Unlike other section, the animals are putted in one place even they're different species. Most of them are quadruped. They are zebras, antelopes, mountain goats, and others. There is some Afrikan decoration around them. Because there are many chairs, we can take a rest after we troughed a long trip from the zoo. But if you are hungry, you can walk through to the food corner. When we eat, the peacock accompanied us like in Europe. There is a Fantasyland near the food corner. So the kids can play in there when their parents are taking a rest. Please take your time in this area. Because we will have a long trip after this again.

After that, we past trough other amusement rides like the ponies field, the farm, a swan boat pool, etc. Near the boat pool, we saw orangutans in the middle of spacious land. They are hanging around to there and there. We saw two rhinos too. We can take a picture of them. Unfortunately, they are endangered right now. That makes feel sad. Besides the rhinos, there are the biggest land animals, the elephants. We can ride on their great body and of course, take a picture of them.

We haven't done yet. We enter the tiger's area. There are many kinds of tiger, but the one that attracts my eyes is the Sumatran white tiger. Its white fur makes the tiger is different from other tigers. Most of the tigers are sleeping, maybe because they're more active at night. There also some lion. We can take a picture with them while we feed them. 

Last but not least, there are some giraffes after we walk out of the tiger's area. They were eating in a spacious space. Maybe its because they are very tall and big. There is another food corner beside the giraffe area. So we can feed them after we finish eating. But of course with the guard company. So that's my experience of Batu Secret Zoo Malang. Because it has a massive area, this trip makes me very tired. But it makes me happy too because there is so much fun. Honestly, there are a lot more animals that I haven't mentioned.
